How to use your favourite mp3 as a ringtone on the Samsung Galaxy S

Follow these simple instructions and you could be using your mp3 as a ringtone in less than a minute

Step 1. Make sure you have some mp3′s already on your phone, if you haven’t then copy some across first.

Step 2. Go to Applications and then My Files and go to the folder where you have stored your mp3s.

Step 3. Click the file and it will start playing in the media player. When it does press pause.

Step 4. Press the bottom left menu Key and a menu shows up.

Step 5. Press the set as option and select what ringtone you want to use it as.

Thats it, your favourite mp3 should now be setup as your ringtone with no special converters or special ringtone mp3′s
